I am wondering if anyone else here is feeling similar to how I am feeling based on recent trends after over ten years of Home Depot experience between two stores. It seems as if Department Supervisors are stretched thinner than ever before, as if the new hiring process (even if well-intentioned) is creating even more issues with call-outs and turnover, that hours are being cut for both part-timers and full-timers, that changes to scheduling systems and attendance policies have made the work experience worse, and that the wages being offered by Home Depot are not keeping it competitive with other employers (especially when considering the level of stress of many positions within HD).
