TAIWAN ONLINE ARRIVAL CARD

All foreign visitors must fill out the electronic form of Taiwan Online Arrival Card (TOAC) before arriving in Taiwan. The online system was introduced by Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency to make travel more convenient and efficient. It collects basic travel and identification information ahead of time to speed up the immigration process.

What is Taiwan Online Arrival Card

The Taiwan Online Arrival Card (TOAC) is a digital form required by Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency for most foreign visitors. It streamlines the immigration process by allowing travelers to submit essential information online before arrival, eliminating the need for a paper arrival card upon entry.

Who Need to Submit

• All foreign visitors entering Taiwan (ROC) are required to submit e-arrival card.
• Foreign nationals visiting Taiwan for tourism, business, or short stays are required to complete the form.

Exemptions of Taiwan Online Arrival Card

• Holders of a Taiwan Resident Certificate or Alien Resident Certificate
• Holders of a diplomatic ID card issued by Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Nationals without Household Registration in Taiwan, except those holding a Taiwan Resident Certificate
• Citizens from Mainland of China
• Hong Kong and Macau Residents

When to Submit

• Visitors can submit the online form 3 days before arrival to Korea.

Visitors  who missed to submit online or fill-up the arrival card may submit online application at the arrival kiosk before clearing the immigration.

Steps on How to Submit

#1 Visit Official Website

Visit the official website for Taiwan Online Arrival Card.

#2 Verify Email Address

Enter valid email address and retrieve the verification code sent to email address. Enter verification code and continue the application process.

#3 Enter Personal Information

Visitors are required to upload Passport information with personal information like Name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth and Passport Number.

• The “English name” field in the Arrival Card only accepts English letters and spaces.
• Do not input any other symbols.
• Visitors who choose to fill out the Arrival Card in Chinese, only Traditional Chinese is accepted.

#4 Enter Passport and Visa Information

Visitors then required to enter the below information

• Visa Type (Visa Exempt, Diplomatic Visa, Courtesy Visa, Visitor Visa, Landing Visa)
• Country Region Code and Number
• Occupation and Email Address

#5 Enter Travel Itinerary Information

Visitors then required to enter the below information

• Arrival Vessel/Flight Number
• Departure DateDeparture Vessel/Flight Number
• Intended Exit Date and Purpose of Travel 
• Accommodationor Address In Taiwan

#6 Enter Contact Information

Review and Please ensure all information is accurate.

#7 Confirm and Submit Application

After successfully submitted the application the online declaration will be processed. Visitor will receive a confirmation e-mail, please ensure the entered e-mail address provided are correct.
